dc.description.abstract	The indicators of deformation of materials and packages in the conditions of cyclic compression imitating the influence of technological and exploitation factors are researched in the article. The constructions and principle of operation of compression unit have been presented, the methods of estimation of materials deformation rates have been described, the results of leather and packages samples tests have been presented. It is shown that the method of cyclic compression makes it possible to predict the materials behavior during the processes of products manufacture and operation. © proceedings of institutions of higher education, 2013.	en]
