dc.description.abstract | The second-order linear difference equation of Poincaré type u(n + 2) + (a + α (n))u(n + 1) + (b + β(n))u(n) = 0, n = 0, 1, . . . , with Buslaev's restrictions on coefficients lim sup n→∞n√ α(n)| ≤ q < 1, limsup n→∞ n√β(n)| ≤ q < 1 is considered. It is assumed that the characteristic roots of the equation have the same modulus.
