Репрезентация концепта «брак» в английской лингвокультуре

Abstract

Статья посвящена исследованию репрезентации концепта «брак» в английской лингвокультуре на материале пословиц и поговорок. Изучение пословично-поговорного фонда позволит определить содержание концепта «брак» в сознании английского народа, его специфику. Анализ пословиц и поговорок может способствовать выявлению наиболее важных, с точки зрения носителя языка, моральных ценностей английского этноса и определить их специфический характер как результат взаимодействия истории, культуры и менталитета. The article studies the manifestation of the concept “Marriage” in the English linguistic culture on the basis of proverbs and sayings. The study of the paroemiological fund allows determining the content of the concept “Marriage” in the minds of the English people, its specificity. An analysis of proverbs and sayings can help identify the most important, from the point of view of a native speaker, moral values of the English ethnos and determine their specific character, as a result of the interaction of history, culture and mentality.
