Abstract:
The changes in agro-environmental parameters of soil of the Chelyabinsk region are considered. The level of soil degradation is shown because of industrial and agricultural influence. The article points out that soil landscape of the region is under influence of great man-made impact of enterprises of metallurgy, mining and chemical industry. Such negative influence affects soil layer and leads to the pollution of soil horizons by heavy metals, radioactive nuclides and other carcinogenic substances which cause irreversible quantitative and qualitative changes. Because of great man-induced loads disbalance of natural primitive plant aggregations takes place, that causes changes in the balance of carbon and organic elements inbiocenosis, water and salt relations on the territories, it leads to humus degradation, resalting and soil alkalinization. After research made the processes of soil degradation by nutrient elements, acid-base properties, humus content are revealed. © SGEM2013 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM.
