dc.description.abstract The results of work on the development of polymolecular adsorption layer models of lubricating oils and rheological modeling of lubricating layer in journal bearings are presented. Multilayer adsorption of hydrocarbon oil components is possible with the primary adsorption of surfactants definite structure-anti-wear additives. The layer affects the overall (average) viscosity of the lubricant layer in the bearings of automobile engines. Fairly distinct boundary exists between the multilayer adsorption layer and conventional motor oil. This is an abstract of paper presented at the 2013 STLE Annual Meeting and Exhibition (Detroit, MI 5/5-9/13). en]
