The model developed for the growth of new-phase nucleation centers in a multicomponent solution with allowance for the chemical reactions between its components is adapted to the nanocrystallization of a solid amorphous alloy. The new model takes into account the mutual effect of all solution components on the diffusion coefficient of each component and the deceleration of nucleus growth because of the accumulation of the components not involved in the growth near the nucleus surface. These effects have been described earlier during a mathematical description of the growth of crystalline nucleation centers. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
