Complex [CoCl(L)]2(μ-Cl)2 (L = 8-(2-butylthioethyl)oxyquinoline) is studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The empirical formula of the compound is C30H34Cl 4Co2N2O2S2, the crystals are monoclinic, a = 9.9382(13) Å, b = 11.9097(8) Å, c = 14.5715(11) Å, β = 102.511(9)°, Z = 2, space group P21/c. The complex is dimeric with bridging chlorine atoms, and the heterocyclic ligand L is tridentate-cyclic. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2010. |
