The development of the theory of lubrication by structurally-heterogeneous and non- Newtonian fluids complex-loaded tribounits was presented. A design procedure of the hydromechanical characteristics for bearings piston and rotor-type of machines was described. The ovality of the plug and a journal of the bearing influenced the hydromechanical characteristics. Non- Newtonian oils essentially reduced the thickness of a lubricant film and simultaneously at 5°-7°C. At the fixed size of microparticles and with increase of their concentration, the extreme and average value of thickness of a lubricant film increased. The maximal hydrodynamical pressure in a lubricant film thus decreased. Losses of power on friction in the bearing increased roughly on 20%. The use of more exact continuous scheme of a crankshaft in the calculation of hydromechanical characteristics led to reduction of the minimal thickness for a cycle of a lubricant film, which proves the necessity of modification for design data of bearings. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the World Tribology Congress (Kyoto, Japan 9/6-11/2009).
