dc.description.abstract This paper concerns efficient control of heating energy allocation for the purposes of heating rooms in multiple flat buildings based on wireless sensor networks. One of the main problems of wireless communication in building automation systems is the attenuation of signal while it passes through walls. The results of theoretical and experimental research completed in real buildings are presented here, comprising walls and ceilings made from different construction materials. The structure of data acquisition wireless network is proposed in reliance on multianalysis. In fine, the new method of spatial heat allocation is proposed. The method is based on the WSN technology. It reliably provides comfortable temperature, required by health and safety regulations, in every room of the building. © 2013 IEEE. en]
