dc.description.abstract The article studies features of electric power industry as a sphere of professional activity affected by criminal influence that affects economic interests, property, people's lives and health. The authors prove that the existent practice of anticriminal reaction does not conform to the requirements of human security and leads to people's rights and vital interests' violation. Authors describe Federal energy supervision authorities' activity on crime prevention in current sphere, weak points and problems of these authorities' preventive functions realization. The article discovers ways of crime counteraction objectives' achievement in current sphere. Their realization lies within Federal energy supervision authorities' power?- preventive activity aimed at detecting and eliminating reasons of crimnal activity. Authors also suggest ways of improvement for prevention activity of Federal energy supervision authorities. The authors assume that it is necessary to tighten regulations in energy supervision in order to eliminate, decrease and neutralize reasons and circumstances of crimes. en]
