dc.description.abstract In studying the causes of crack initiation in a KhN75MBTYu alloy (Ni 68.568-77.6, Cr 19-22, Mo 1.8-2.3, Nb 0.9-1.3, Ti 0.35-0.75, Al 0.35-0.75, C < 0.10, Si < 0.80, Fe < 3.0, Mn < 0.40 %) during its production, the distribution of a number of elements in its ingot is analyzed. It is noted that embedded cracks are initiated in zones with high titanium and nitrogen contents. No substantial heterogeneities in the distribution of other elements in the ingot are detected. © 2011 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. en]
