dc.description.abstract A technology for firing different kinds of fuels in the furnace of the same boiler is considered. It is shown that the best result is achieved in the case of using a tangential arrangement, which makes is possible to obtain the most pronounced effect of cooling the flame by waterwalls with the minimal release of nitrogen oxides, insignificant heat fluxes in the direction of burner throats, and increased service life of burners. © 2008 MAIK Nauka. en]
